This can happen because the symptoms of dengue can be confused with the symptoms of common illnesses like flu and cold.
The important thing is that at the slightest sign, look for a Health Unit.
The most common symptoms of DENGUE are:
- Headache;
- Pain behind the eyes;
- Belly pain and nausea;
- Weakness;
- Red spots on the skin;
- Mucosal bleeding;
- Fever;
- Joint pain
The treatment is free in the SUS (Brazilian Unified Health System) and should be started as soon as possible.
